Exchanges & Returns Policy:

Items before shipping: You can cancel your order by pressing the cancel button on the website.

Items after shipping: Unopened items can be refunded or exchanged for items of equal or lesser value only if you contact the customer support center (kanjihunterofficial@gmail.com) within 10 days of the arrival of the item. We do not accept returns or exchanges of items after opening.

Delivery Times:

Orders will be processed within 3-15 business days.

Products should be received within 14 days of processing.

Payment Period:

Welcome to KH Japan Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

• All tours must be booked in advance through our official website or approved platforms (Ecwid, Calendly, etc.).

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

• Prices are listed in Japanese yen and include guiding services only unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. However, each booking requires advance preparation and scheduling. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before your scheduled tour start time.

• Cancellations made between 3–6 days before the tour will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start time are non-refundable.

• No-shows will be treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.

• In the rare case of severe weather, public transport suspension, or guide illness, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

• For private or custom tours involving extensive research, reservations, or coordination, a 14-day cancellation policy may apply. Details will be confirmed at the time of booking.

I. Non-Refundable Deposit Clause

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable but will be applied toward the total tour cost. 

II. Change / Reschedule Fee

Rescheduling less than 72 hours before the tour may incur a ¥5,000 change fee. 

III. Peak Season Clause

During peak seasons (for example, cherry blossom or autumn foliage periods), cancellations made within 14 days of the tour are non-refundable due to high demand.

• Professional guiding by Tom Fallon (or by an approved guide in extenuating circumstances)

• Cultural storytelling, historical context, and local insights

• Transportation costs

• Admission fees to temples, museums, gardens (unless specified)

4. Participant Responsibilities

• Please arrive at the designated meeting point on time. Delays of more than 20 minutes may shorten the tour or be considered a no-show.

• Tours involve walking through public areas, temples, gardens, and natural paths. Participants must be able to walk unaided for the tour duration.

• Please inform us in advance of any allergies, health conditions, or mobility needs.

5. Group Size & Private Tours

• Standard tours are small-group experiences (1– 6 participants unless otherwise arranged).

• Larger private group options are available upon request and may require custom pricing and itinerary.

6. Photography & Social Media

• You are welcome to take photos during the tour. We may also take photos (with your permission) for use on our social media or website.

• If you prefer not to be photographed, please let your guide know.

All personal information collected during booking (e.g., name, email, dietary needs) is kept strictly confidential and used only to communicate tour details or relevant updates.

While every effort is made to ensure your safety, KH Japan Tours is not liable for:

• Any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the tour

• Delays or cancellations caused by natural disasters, transport issues, or third-party actions

We recommend purchasing your own travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and theft/loss.
